Global carbon emissions break record in 2019

Climatologists warn that the world's big countries aren't doing enough to reduce CO2 emissions.

Global CO2 emissions from fossil fuels have surged this year to a record level, show figures from research group Global Carbon Project, led by climate scientists and economists contributing knowledge to climate change mitigation efforts, report US media The New York Times and The Atlantic.
