EKF to help corona-stricken export

The Danish Export Credit Agency extends its reinsurance scheme so that it covers OECD countries, establishing a new liquidity guarantee for small and mid-sized companies.

The Danish Export Credit Agency (EKF) now brings an aid package to assist domestic businesses. With two initiatives, EKF will help small and medium-sized companies with liquidity problems as a result of the coronavirus, in part ensuring that export orders can still be insured with private actors. DKK 1.25 billion (EUR 167.26 million) have been allocated to liquidity guarantees and DKK 1.5 billion to reinsurance, EKF announces.
