Offshore wind's new bottleneck is vocational training

According to wind organizations GWEC and GWO, the offshore wind build-out in the world's developing markets will require 77,000 specialized workers. The organizations predict a bottleneck within training.

There are many indications that the time of offshore wind being a European phenomenon is coming to an end.

Like a tidal wave, the technology will wash over new lands in the 2020s. Demand is high, and the first half of the decade is expected to hold new wind farms at sites as different as Boston and Ho Chi Minh City.
