NORWEA: Unfortunate, unreasonable treatment of old wind farms

While compensation for host municipalities is a welcome initiative, Norway's wind sector organization fears that a generation levy on existing wind farms will reduce predictability.

Norway's revised national budget has been a good thing, says the Norwegian Wind Energy Association (NORWEA): It's a good idea that municipalities acting as host to wind energy are also compensated for it through a generation tax, according to the organization.
