German network agency signals further market manipulation fines for Nordic traders

The country's federal network agency has criticized several Nordic players, resulting in a fine for market manipulation sent to power trader Energi Danmark. Although the final page hasn't been turned, and German authorities say more fines could be issued.

Tuesday this week, yet another chapter was written on the case of repeated market imbalance in the German electricity market in June of 2019 for which power traders Energi Danmark and Optimax were penalized for market manipulation.
