Were Russia to attack its neighbor Ukraine, it could lead to a complete halting of natural gas pipeline Nord Stream 2, which connects to Germany, noted German Chancellor Olfa Scholz of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) on Tuesday, according to media Euractiv.

The natural gas pipeline between Germany and Russia is ready for commissioning but pending final approval.
