Enel issues major Danish export credit loan

In a deal targeting Vestas and Siemens Gamesa, the Danish Export Credit Agency signs its second-largest loan agreement to date.

Historically, the Danish Export Credit Agency’s (EKF) big loans have been granted to specific offshore wind projects and by way of wind turbine manufacturers. However, in step with EKF’s rising activity levels, which solely in the first half of this year totaled 14.8bn in new credit issuances, the agency has also widened the spectrum for both major credit recipients and underlying clientele thereof.
