EU nations ready to fast-track permitting for submitted renewables projects

Renewable energy lobby groups were displeased with the EU’s emergency directive, aimed at accelerating the permission process for new renewable energy projects, not applying to projects already submitted, but now the legislation will be amended to accommodate their critique.
