EU approves Danish subsidies for Kriegers Flak

The EU Competitions Commissioner has approved Danish state subsidies to offshore wind farm Kriegers Flak.

The EU Commission has given the green light to a Danish subsidy for the 600 MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm.

"The Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm will help to cut carbon dioxide emissions while the support is carefully designed to avoid distorting competition in electricity markets. I'm glad to be able to approve state support for this project," says Margrethe Vestager, EU Competitions Commissioner, in a press release.
