
Indian wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon Energy aims to make a comeback on the US market where the company has plans to install a prototype wind turbine in Texas later this year and have 500 MW of PTC qualified capacity installed in 2018, writes Recharge News.
Recharge has spoken with Suzlon Energy's Chairman Tulsi Tanti. The company hopes, according to Tanti, that it can win back some of its former US customers and grab new ones as well. Suzlon also hopes to open a new blade factory in the US when the long-term market visibility improves.
