Spain postpones criticized technology-neutral tender

After the solar power industry reported Spain's the first technology-neutral renewables tender to the EU Commission, the wind industry is now dissatisfied with the next tender, which has now been postponed by one week.

Spain's energy ministry is about to host its second renewables tender on July 24. Just like the previous tender, it is technology-neutral tender meaning that both solar and wind power players will battle it out for the available 3 GW, the ministry announced in a statement.
