Underwater power cable hindered by WWII bombs

A 140-kilometer power cable, which will run from the UK to Belgium, will cross areas with unexploded bombs from WWII.

"The Nemo Link" an energy project, which will connect the UK's national energy supply grid to the European mainland with an underwater power cable to Belgium, has been hindered by unexploded bombs, mines, and crashed planes from World War II, reports Euractiv.
