Siemens Gamesa has reduced the number of employees it will dismiss from its blade factory in Aalborg, Denmark, according to Danish union 3F. Of the 600 employees that were originally slated for pink slips, every fourth will keep their job, bringing the total number of firings down to 446. Of these, 395 are production workers on hourly wage.

"We have secured a reasonable agreement. This time, Siemens has stepped up to the plate," says the Chairman of 3F Aalborg, Benny Vinther Jensen.
