
Solar and wind power face an uncertain future in Australia.
The conservative government states in its new energy strategy, National Energy Guarantee (NEG), that the country is abandoning its target for 42 percent of Australia's electricity to be covered by renewables by 2030, while subsidies for solar panels and wind farms will be terminated from 2020.
