IRENA: Raise targets for renewable energy in the EU

Europe can raise its targets for the use of renewable energy in 2030 without any additional costs, shows an analysis from the International Renewable Energy Agency.

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) will present an analysis this morning to the EU Commission in Brussels. The analysis concerns how much renewable energy should cover of the EU's total energy consumption in 2030, if the target must be cost-efficient.
