Senvion to lower price of turbine not yet in existence

In cooperation with the Technical University of Denmark and German utility EnBW among others, the wind turbine manufacturer is seeking EU funding for its upcoming offshore wind turbine of at least 10 MW.


Senvion is working on an offshore wind turbine with capacity of at least 10 MW, announced the German wind turbine manufacturer in May, but despite rumors of a presentation of the turbine in June, nothing has officially been announced since.

At any rate, the turbine will likely be announced by the end of the year as the company has committed the machines to be ready for the next German offshore wind tenders.
