German firm buys Bladt out of joint venture

Ørsted is awarding orders for the last foundations on the Hornsea 1 project, to which Bladt will supply an additional 28 transition pieces.

German foundation manufacturer EEW Special Pipes Constructions (SPC) is buying Denmark's Bladt out of the British joint venture between the two companies known as Offshore Structures Britian (OSB). This transaction is part of an "overall settlement of several outstanding commercial issues," Bladt states.
