Denmark's Ørsted (formerly known as Dong Energy), the world's largest offshore wind developer, tends to remind subcontractors of the importance of lowering sector prices, Group CEO Henrik Poulsen says today that it is not Ørsted's fault that a Polish subcontractor entered into receivership this fall.
In relation to the company's third quarter interim report, released Wednesday, Ørsted announced that work on wind farm Borkum Riffgrund 2 had been impacted by a bankruptcy filing at one of the farm's subcontractors.
