Ørsted's wind turbines slightly above last year's level

The major offshore wind division has rotated far more MW for Ørsted during the first nine months of the year, but the division nevertheless performed worse than expected.

Ørsted's offshore wind turbine division, Wind Power, emerged from the third quarter of 2017 with a higher EBITDA than the same period last year.

The operating profit at the company, which until a few days ago was known as Dong Energy, landed at DKK 1,674 million (EUR 22.4 million) against an expectation of DKK 3,872 million, according to estimates from Ritzau Estimates. In the third quarter of 2016, earnings were at DKK 1,643 million.
