Siemens Gamesa staff threaten to strike

Negotiations between Siemens Gamesa and the Spanish unions have collapsed. After the turbine producer's announcement on Nov. 6 that upwards of 6,000 employees would be fired, the negotiations have been ongoing in the affected countries. But in Spain, the union representatives left the talks as they were displeased with what they view as a "declaration of war" (Spanish article) from a disrespectful employer which leaks information and breaks the law.
