Ørsted and CIP to battle for installation of Massachusetts' first offshore wind farm

Ørsted has submitted a bid on Massachusetts' first offshore wind farm, which power 500,000 homes, through a joint venture with New England's largest utility. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners will also submit a bid.

Ørsted is bidding on the installation of Massachusetts' first offshore wind farm via its joint venture Bay State Wind. As is Danish rival Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), which together with an Iberdrola subsidiary will battle for the rights to the farm.
