German states want to grow national wind tender by one third
A majority in the German federal council of states, the Bundesrat, wants to increase this year's national tender of onshore wind by 1,400 MW and suspend a controversial advantage in the current tender system. A proposal to double offshore wind will now be considered as well.
Germany seems willing to tender off one third more onshore wind this year than originally planned.
