Goldwind nabs US executive from Siemens Gamesa

The Chinese wind turbine manufacturer has secured yet another "invaluable asset" in its efforts to grow the US market.

Goldwind has a new president of its US subsdiary. The turbine manufacturer has appointed David J. Sale as the new CEO for Goldwind Americas, who comes from a role as Director of Sales with Siemens Wind Power Americas. He will relieve David Halligan, who stepped down from the Chinese company at the end of January after a five-year period as temporary and then permanent CEO.
