Prospect of market collapse prompts wind turbine installations to slow down

The transition to tender-based bidding rounds could mean a market collapse, says World Wind Energy Association.

Last year, 52,522 MW in wind turbines were installed globally. This brings total capacity up to 539,291 MW, reports World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) in a press release.
