There are plenty of orders to keep the production line spinning at Siemens Gamesa's new factory i Cuxhaven, and the company does not appear to be in need of finding new orders for its nacelle factory any time soon.

Tacke says, according to Recharge News, that full order books also give reason to further expand the factory:

"At the moment, we are operating up to capacity with stable orders until 2020. That provides us with a secure basis for further expansion here."

Moreover, Siemens Gamesa explains that the company's 7 MW offshore nacelles are presently produced in Cuxhaven, but there are plans for transition to the 8 MW offshore nacelles.

Siemens Gamesa began constructing the 55,000 m2 facility in 2016 has been able to use the factory since mid-2017.
