US federal states are competing intensely to attract the most jobs from the budding domestic offshore wind market. Despite all players claiming to be the clear choice, they seem to agree that there will eventually be plenty of jobs for the benefit of all.

"I expect that, in the first round, it will be a case of each state for itself," states Kenneth J. Sheehan from New Jersey's Board of Public Utilities from the podium at the wind energy conference in Boston.
