Ørsted sells half of Hornsea 1 for EUR 5 billion

The energy company is selling half of Hornsea 1 – planned to be the world's largest offshore wind farm – substantially boosting its operating result for the year.

Ørsted sold its 50 percent stake in its offshore wind farm Hornsea 2 Tuesday. The buyer is Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) which paid GBP 4.46 billion for its stake.
