Wood Mackenzie: Known markets in Europe will continue to drive offshore wind growth

European markets will continue to drive growth in the offshore wind industry and will do so for a number of years to come, according an analyst from Wood Mackenzie.

Several offshore wind developers have turned their gaze toward new markets in Asia and the US, but European markets will continue to drive growth in the industry in the immediate future, according to Søren Lassen, offshore wind energy analyst at consultancy firm Wood Mackenzie, which was formerly known as Make Consulting.
