Ørsted constructs onshore wind farm in the US

The Danish energy company has decided to construct a wind farm in the US, Ørsted's first onshore wind investment in almost a decade, and it will deploy turbines from a supplier never previously used.

Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE) will construct wind farm project Lockett Wind in Texas. This marks the fourth time this year that the US developer decides to install turbines in the wind-abundant US state. With a total capacity of 184 MW, this is the smallest of these four projects.
