North American port receives grant for wind development

The US federal administration has allocated a USD 15 million grant for the development of wind turbine facilities at a port on the US eastern seaboard.

The federal US government has granted USD 15.4 million to an expansion of the Port of New Bedford in the US state of Massachusetts, a large share of which will go to expanding facilities for the storage and shipping of wind turbine components.
