Vattenfall gets final go for Denmark's biggest onshore wind farm

The Northern Danish municipalities of Vesthimmerland and Aalborg have now both approved the Nørrekær Enge II project, which can now add around 150 MW capacity with 36 more wind turbines.

Offshore wind project Nørrekær Enge II moved one step closer to realization Monday, when the Aalborg municipal council approved its part of the project plan. Thursday, the municipal council of Vesthimmerland followed suit. The plan for what will become Denmark's largest onshore wind park rated around 150 MW is now settled.
