
For the first time ever, Iberdrola delivered a net result of more than EUR 3 billion, according to its 2018 report. With EUR 3.014 billion, the bottom line for the Spanish utility has boosted 7.5 percent while the top line is boosted 12.2 percent to EUR 35.076 billion, the company writes in its annual report released Wednesday.
The boost is primarily driven by the company's renewables division. This part of the business is growing by 39.9 percent to an EBITDA result of EUR 2.446 billion, a fourth of the group's total EBITDA result.
