Siemens Gamesa seeks approval of facility plans in France

The German-Spanish turbine manufacturer Siemens Gamesa has applied to authorities in Le Havre for approval of huge facility plans in the port city.

A planned factory in the port of Le Havre will produce the main components of Siemens Gamesa's 8 MW turbines, which will initially be used for offshore wind projects Le Treport, Saint Brieuc and Noirmoutier for an approximate total of 1.5 GW, reports industry media Renews.biz.
