EIA assessment on Denmark's planned offshore farm underway

The Danish energy regulator has initiated a supplemental environmental impact assessment for its planned offshore wind farm Vesterhav Nord.

In December, the establishment license for Denmark's coming offshore wind farm Vesterhav Syd was repealed by the energy regulator's appeal committee, leading to a new environmental impact assessment (EIA) that began in February. Now Swedish utility Vattenfall has requested that the planned adjacent facility Vesterhav Nord undergo the same process.
