Vestas bags order with large potential

A French project developer nominates the Danish wind turbine manufacturer for its first project in Finland. Initially, the order entails 71 MW, but it leaves room for a tenfold increase.

Vestas has secured an order of 71.4 MW. French project developer Valorem, which has previously selected the Danish manufacturer's wind turbines for other projects in the country, brings its customer along to its first two wind farms in Finland. Here, 17 units of the type V150-4.2 MW will be delivered. The turbines are expected to enter operation from late 2020, states Vestas.
