Vestas overtakes GE in US market

Despite fine figures from General Electric's renewables division, Vestas has taken in far more orders than its US competitor.

GE's Renewable Energy division has recorded a combined order intake of more than 2 GW from the first five months of the year – 2,019 MW, to be precise, the US conglomerate informs during a press conference at a wind trade fair held in Houston, Texas.
