Blue Water to ship 183 Siemens Gamesa turbines

Blue Water Shipping has received an order for 47 shipments of offshore wind turbine components for North Sea projects – and one off the US eastern seaboard.

Around late 2020, Blue Water Shipping will sail from Denmark's Port of Esbjerg 47 times for Siemens Gamesa. The shipping company has signed an order from the wind turbine manufacturer for the delivery, preparation and shipping of 183 offshore wind turbines to four projects, writes Blue Water Shipping.

"We are very happy and proud to be chosen for this assignment by Siemens Gamesa Offshore. It is an important one for us, and it will contribute to maintaining and strengthening our position in logistics and stevedoring for the wind turbine industry," says General Manager and Head of Operations Søren Messmann.
