French wind tenders break free of stagnation

With the allocation of more than four times as many megawatts as in the previous French onshore wind tender, prices dropped significantly. However, prices are only marginally lower than in the country's first tender.

It seems the French onshore wind market has become fruitful again. In the third tender since the transition from fixed subsidies, 21 projects with a total capacity of 516 MW were awarded, informs the French energy ministry.
