An order for 32 MW may not sound like much. Still, in a few ways it is an interesting order that Siemens Gamesa announces on Monday. Partly because it concerns an offshore wind farm in Vietnam – which despite its very early phase is one of the most popular southeast Asian markets – and partly because, technically, the wind turbines to be installed are of the onshore type. The order for project No. 5 Thanh Hai 1 is thus for seven wind turbines of the type SG 4.5-145.
