German malaise slows wind expansion

Europe's onshore wind expansion was uncustomarily equally distributed in the first six months of this year. Seven countries – from Greece in the south, Sweden in the north, Ukraine in the east and France in the west – installed more than 200 MW from January to June. Only three countries delivered that level of growth in the same period last year, shows a statement by trade association WindEurope's on its biannual statistics.
