Wärtsilä to supply 100 MW storage in South East Asia

The Finnish equipment manufacturer has entered an EPC contract for an energy storage project designed for power grid support.

Wärtsilä is adding another project from the South East Asian market to its portfolio, in which the Finnish company already holds 35 engineering, procurement and construction contracts totaling 1,500 MW of energy storage capacity, the manufacturer informs in a press release.
