Bango Wind Farm initiated with major order for GE's Cypress

The hitherto largest wind farm to consist of GE's Cypress turbines will be established in Australia following major investment by a private equity firm.

Establishment of Bango Wind Farm of 244 MW has commenced after Swiss private equity firm Partners Group decided to invest AUD 500 million (EUR 302.6 million) in the project. The wind farm was originally slated for operation this year but is now expected to be commissioned mid-2021, Partners Group announces.
