Hydroelectric leader plans Europe's largest battery factory and Norway's largest wind farm
Freyr plans the next addition to the Nordic region's so-called battery belt with a 32 GWh factory slated for completion in 2023 as well as Norway's largest wind farm rated up to 600 MW. Leading figures from Norsk Hydro back the project, which has already entered an agreement with Siemens.
Far to the North, electrons can practically be sensed sending a charge through the air almost like the Northern Lights dancing up in the atmosphere.
