Equinor gives compatriot outfit Hywind Tampen contract

Wood Norge gets the important task of connecting floating wind turbines to oil rigs in a contract worth up to NOK 300 million, reports Norwegian media.

Wood Norge is tasked with managing the modification of oil rigs Gullfaks A and Snorre A to receive electricity from the floating offshore wind turbines Equinor is planning to install at its Hywind Tampen project. The job has a value of up to NOK 300 million (EUR 29.59 million), reports Norwegian daily Stavanger Aftenblad.
