Siemens Gamesa's first-born breaks the scale

The wind turbine maker was the last of the big OEMs to launch a 5 MW platform but will be the first to install an onshore machine rated at 6.6 MW. Much of this feat is attributable to the first real joint effort from Siemens' and Gamesa's teams, says onshore CEO.
