Vestas squeezes in turbine with South Korean project

The wind OEM has received its first order for a relatively old turbine model in the East Asian country.

With an order for 42 MW, Vestas makes this year's first visit to South Korea. The wind turbine maker is to deliver ten V136-4.2 MW models to project Cheongsong Myeonbong Mt Wind Power under engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor Kumho Industrial Co., Ltd., as well as a 20-year service agreement of the type AOM 4000, Vestas informs.
