Statkraft wind farm rejected

Local authorities in Ireland refuse planning permission to the Norwegian utility, which will, however, try to obtain it elsewhere in the country.

Ireland has been one of Statkraft's focus areas in 2019. However, the Norwegian state-owned utility will for now have to accept that part of this focus, North Kildare Wind Farm, is not going to happen. The project, consisting of up to 12 wind turbines with tip heights of 169 meters, has been rejected by a majority in the Kildare County Council, writes domestic media Leinster Express.
