Energy in 2019: Although renewable energy saw many victories in 2019, with the first Danish zero-subsidy wind turbines being established under the radar, there were also movements in the other direction.

A week prior to Christmas, four wind turbines entered operation at the Port of Hirtshals, Denmark. The event didn't draw any noteworthy attention, despite the fact that they were practically the only turbines installed this year, and also the country's first zero-subsidy wind turbines.
