Vattenfall plans wind farm with 5.5 MW wind turbines
Despite opposition from more than a half-million Scottish wildcat lovers, Vattenfall has submitted an application to install the largest onshore machines deployed to date by the Swedish utility in the UK.
A half-million cat lovers have signed a petition opposing the clearing of the Clashindarroch forest, home to the Scottish wildcat, to make room for a wind farm the Swedish utility want to build.
