Mercedes strikes deal with Statkraft
Norway's Statkraft is to collaborate with German-Luxembourgish Enovos on a PPA for Daimler AG, by which intelligent solutions will make sure that the latter's factory is supplied with 100 percent renewable energy at all times. The companies say it's the first deal of its kind in Germany.
In a few months, one of the grand old men of combustion engines, Daimler AG, producer of Mercedes-Benz, has prepared to jump head-first into power sourced from renewable energy.
